The Royal Wedding

While the Royal Wedding in Westminster was not a natural disaster or an emergency that needed to be reported on television worldwide, this past Friday it was all over the news from early in the morning to late in the afternoon.
An event that had been talked about for months, finally occurred and resulted in one of the most expected events for the people whether you lived here in America or in any other part of the world. I guess this event was indeed one of the most appreciated royal weddings, simply because both William and Catherine were in love, and this is something that you never expect in royal weddings.
An ordinary girl, Catherine Middleton, was not raised with the same luxuries as Prince William, but what started in college continued until the day of their wedding.
Both William and Catherine attended University of St. Andrew's in Scotland and even became roommates, but William's interest for Catherine did not start then. It was until the day that Catherine participated in a runway, that she sparked William's attention. From that day on William tried to impress her by cooking every night. Catherine and William started dating in 2001, but this long-time relationship ended in the year 2007.   This break-up however did not last long as the couple came back together and finally decided to get married this past Friday, April 29, 2011.
While this may not be as newsworthy as a natural disaster, it was a major event in England most commonly even celebrated as a Holiday as people are not required to work on the day of the wedding.
Catherine Middleton will never be like Princess Diana, but her efforts will not be put to waste. Personally, I think that Catherine has done a great job so far. Even though she was not raised as a royal, she has learned how to present herself professionally when she is with William and even when she must handle the press on her own.
Pertaining to the wedding, Catherine indeed chose a spectacular dress that she wore very well. Princess Diana on the other hand did not wear such an appealing dress. This could have been due to the fact that unlike Catherine, she was not in love with the man that she was about to marry. At only 19 years of age, Princess Diana had no other choice than to marry Prince Charles, who was also not in love with her in return. This could have perhaps been the main reason why they never lived a happy life as a couple. As for Prince William and Catherine, things will be different, just hopefully the same story will not repeat because this couple is actually in love.
Another thing that I thought was very of Prince William was that gave Catherine his mother's engagement ring, which he later mentioned that he did this because he wanted his mother to be a part of the wedding and to accompany him on this special day even though she was not there in person.
Rather than an actual natural disaster invading the news this weekend, the royal wedding was more of a love story that I am sure many people enjoyed as it brought the old times back along with a taste of modernism through the love and affection that both the Prince and his now wife shared.

Palos Verdes Nature Preserve: GOATS!

I thought this article was very odd at first and that is what led to reading it. After I finished reading it I was amazed about God's wonders and how everything is that happens in nature happens for a reason. In this case the goats were placed in a preserve that had been burned in order to gobble up all of the weeds so that native plants can once again sprout and insects which roamed through the field could come back again.
The article focuses specifically on alternatives that prevent the use of other things that might pollute the environment. It is just basically using what God has provided us and doing so for the best. The goats probably have no idea about what they are doing, all they probably do know is that they are eating as much as possible and can do so in a huge preserve. Nature is working its way and everything is falling into place.
Although they were once banned from the fields because they would gobble up all of the new grass, goats now have the opportunity to eat as much as they want while increasing diversity and bringing back plants and insects.
I thought it was funny that there is an actual person that has to stay with the goats and have them eat all the weeds without loosing control. I never thought that there would actually be a job this random but that people actually enjoy.
The person watching over them has to make sure that there are no predators that can eat the goats, like coyotes. When the goat watcher has to leave he makes sure that the goats are safe and that nothing will happen to them. There is also an electric fence that keeps others from coming in and predators out.
While nature can cause other things to happen, like fires, it important that things burn and that nature evolves and constantly changes so that there can be new things. In this case, after the fire everyone thought that things were hopeless and that it would take forever to plant things and have actual insects work their magic helping these plants sprout beautifully, but the case is not true.
I really think that God is great and that everything that is meant to happen actually happens making things much better than they were originally. This article definitely taught me that God works His magic in many many different ways.

iPhone Renovations

As the iPhone continuously changes and has updated versions, people continue purchasing the new versions. Loyal customers will probably continue to do so even when there are issues commonly present in the phones that others might complain about.

Apple's dedication to satisfy the consumer has proved successful and this time they have taken a bigger step, giving Verizon Wireless the power to provide their service to iPhones. While AT&T had complete ownership of the service provided through the iPhones, this will no longer be the same monopoly and more people will be satisfied.

Even though the iPhones that Verizon Wireless will provide to to their customers are pretty much the same, they are nevertheless different in several ways. Each phone is adjusted in a different manner to help maintain each company's uniqueness.

Through new advancements in technology and more specifically with Apple and their products it seems that people are becoming much more urged to continue buying the new release.

People line up and wait to buy the new phone, which they might not even be able to afford but still look forward to buying.

While I do not own an iPhone, they are marvelous and as Apple continues making innovations and things to add to the phone, they are also increasing their market and will continue having an increased amount of sales.

Several articles announced that the iPhone 4 had several defects, but Apple, being the good company it is resolved this problem right away not making a big deal out of it at all.

In this case, their public relations department was extremely successful and when dealing with any other situations they are also able to handle the problem with ease.

As new phones are released and as innovat
ions in technology evolve, I'm sure Apple will also continue learning from their mistakes and continue satisfying their customers. It's simply the prestige and honor they have built among the people.
